“Oh, there is so much more that your Father in Heaven wants you to know.” - President Russell M. Nelson
Sister Carole Stephens shared some of the experiences she had serving as the 1st counselor in the General Relief Society presidency. It was fun hearing about the process of being asked to speak in General Conference and about the behind the scenes personalities of our prophet and his counselors. She bore a powerful testimony of our prophet, President Nelson. She counseled us to reread his conference talk and also the text from the worldwide youth devotional with a red pen in hand, looking for and circling words like plead, exhort, urge, and promise. What comes after these words, we should pay special attention to. She has had a habit of studying all conference talks for a very long time, but she said these messages from our prophet have more strong words than anything she has ever read from a general authority. Our Savior is speaking through his prophet to you youth and He is desperate for you to get the message. Please, even if you have listened to or read these messages already, take this challenge! It will help give you courage as you face all the unknowns of this first week back to school. Comments are closed.

AuthorThis blog is inspired by The Life of Our Lord, by Charles Dickens. Dickens hoped to teach his children about religion and faith. He wrote the book strictly for his children with zero desire to have it published, but it was later shared with others that it might stand as a source of light in a darkening world. It starts, "My Dear Children, I am very anxious that you should know something about the History of Jesus Christ. For everybody ought to know about Him..." Archives
